FIFF aims to raise standards: Fest chief

Director of 35th edition of Fajr International Film Festival Reza Mirkarimi says the festival aims to raise the bar for movie selection.

Mirkarimi  made the remarks on Saturday, adding that the festival plans to revise criteria for selecting films in a bid to hold a high-standard festival.

“The number of halls screening the films have increased due to the high number of participants and audiences,” he also noted

The 35th edition of Fajr International Film Festival organized in Iranian capital city of Tehran started April 21, 2017. The 35th International Fajr Film Festival is scheduled to end on April 28, 2017.
